Our Process
From first call to first night — in 17 weeks.
A predictable, week-by-week build. No "TBD." No middlemen. Just a clear path from your backyard to a finished ADU.
- 01
Week 1
Free consultation + site walk
We come to you. We measure your lot, talk through your goals, review setbacks and HOA rules, and tell you honestly what's possible. You'll leave with a real number — not a teaser.
→ You decide whether to move forward. No pressure, no deposit.
- 02
Week 2–4
Design + engineering
Our architects produce stamped plans, our engineers handle structural and energy calcs. You select finishes from our curated package — or upgrade to bespoke.
→ You approve plans. We lock the build budget and timeline.
- 03
Week 5–10
Permitting (we handle everything)
We file with your city and HOA, manage every plan-check comment, and follow up until we have a stamped permit. You get weekly updates — no chasing required.
→ Permit issued. We schedule your build start.
- 04
Week 11–16
Build (in-house crews)
Foundation, framing, MEP, drywall, finish. Our crews — not random subs. You get progress photos every Friday and access to the project manager any day.
→ City inspections pass. Final walkthrough is scheduled.
- 05
Week 17
Walkthrough + keys
We walk every detail with you, complete any punch list within 7 days, and hand off your warranty package. Then we hand you the keys.
→ You move in. We're still a phone call away — for the warranty period and beyond.
Permit support is included.
Every Arizona city has its own ADU rules. We file your application, respond to plan-check comments, attend HOA meetings, and don't stop until you have a stamped permit in hand. It's not extra. It's just part of the job.
HB 2720
Arizona HB 2720 requires larger Arizona municipalities to allow accessory dwelling units on lots where single-family homes are allowed.
City of Phoenix
Phoenix's public ADU guide states that state law and city ordinance allow two — and on some parcels three — ADUs per single-family detached house.
